The Hungarian airline Malev may soon be headed by a Russian manager. The Russian AiRUnion company bought the airline in February.

The former president of Malev resigned on Monday and AiRUnion suggested its own candidate Petr Leonov.

He is a board member of Malev and familiar with the Hungarian market.

AiRUnion comprises 5 Russian airlines including KrassAir. It’s head Boris Abramovich promised to invest $US 60 MLN in the Hungarian company.
