Boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko has chosen his next opponent – US heavyweight Chris Arreola, fightnews.com reports. The Ukrainian said the venue and the date of the big match are not yet set.

Arreola, nicknamed ‘The Nightmare’, faces Jameel McClineon on April 11 and he’ll definitely need a couple of months to recover before he faces the holder of both the IBF and WBO belts.

Klitschko’s team was in negotiations with David Hay, but the fight scheduled for June 20 was cancelled, because the terms the British boxer put forward were ‘unacceptable’ for them.

Chris Arreola, 28, is so far unbeaten in the ring. He has triumphed in all of his 26 fights – winning 23 of them by knockout.

His latest victim was Travis Walker, whom he sent to the floor in the third round of a match held in November 2008.
