Zenit St Petersburg would like to strengthen their squad with England and West Ham central defender Matthew Upson.
According to 4-4-2.com, the Russian side want the 30-year-old to join them during the summer transfer window.
Zenit are reported to be ready to pay €4.5 million per year to the Englishman in a four-year deal.
Upson has played 19 games and scored 3 goals for mid-table side West Ham in the current English Premier League season.
He also has 18 caps and 1 goal for the national team, in which he made his debut back in 2003.
The St Petersburgers are going to have some serious rivals in the hunt for the player, as English Premier League top sides Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are all said to be interested in securing his services.
