­Jacob Greaves is a correspondent for Prime Time Russia.

He joined RT in November 2008 as part of the Business Today team. In his current role he largely reports from Moscow and enjoys seeing first hand how modern Russia functions. Whether covering the hardships of those left homeless by wildfires, or investigating the effects of police reform drives, he thrives on being at the heart of the action as a story unravels.

Before RT, Jacob worked as a researcher for the BBC and several independent broadcasters. After completing his undergraduate studies at Exeter University in History, he went on to get a diploma in Current Affairs Journalism from City University.

Outside of the workplace he’s a keen sports enthusiast. Over the years he’s dabbled in everything from ice hockey to badminton and always enjoys the opportunity to let loose his competitive streak.
