Kate is a Sports presenter at RT.
She started out at the sports desk of the Daily Mail in London before moving to Granada Television. She was a voluntary assistant producer throughout ITV’s World Cup 2002 before becoming an AP on The Premiership. She then moved to Chelsea TV to become a presenter before gaining a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism from Cardiff University.
Kate then joined IMG, and worked in various roles including AP on the Premier League, French League and Mainsail programmes, presenter on the Total Rugby radio show, and multi-media news editor on the Essential Sports, French League and HSBC Golf websites, and has covered sporting events worldwide.
She then freelanced at Setanta Sports News as a journalist and news editor, along with sub-editing and picture editing at the Daily Mail online sports desk before joining RT in November 2009.
Kate was educated at the London School of Economics and King’s College London, and is also a qualified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language.
When not watching football, she spends her time going to the gym, listening to music, dancing, watching comedy and writing. Outside of sport, her favourite working week was spent as a temporary script editor on a comedy history series with Rik Mayall.
