Madina is a news correspondent for RT and currently covering events in Russia`s North Caucasus region.
She started her career with the channel in summer 2006 by joining the Business Today team as a broadcast journalist. Soon after, she began reporting and over the next two years Madina had a chance to interview some of the most influential Russian and foreign business representatives.
In summer 2008, Madina was engaged in media coverage of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict, reporting live from the scene. Upon her return from the conflict zone she received an official gratitude from the Presidential Office for her work there and was promoted to news correspondent.
As she began working for the main news, Madina traveled across the globe from the heart of Europe to Laos in Southeast Asia, reporting on government actions as well as everyday life. She has traveled with Russia`s top politicians including Prime Minister Putin and President Medvedev, on both internal and external trips. She also found time to report for the Business team following the development of the major gas transportation project Nord Stream. She also covered the opening of the route for tankers in the Arctic Ocean at one of the northernmost points of Russia, in Chukotka region.
Madina graduated from Moscow State Linguistic University as an International Management Specialist with a degree in English and French. She has also studied Spanish at the Cervantez Institute in Moscow.
