Moscow has its own way of cooking chicken so that it becomes tender and full of taste.
Fry chicken with sliced onions and ceps (dried ceps should be soaked in cold water for 3-4 hours before cooking) until slightly golden. In a bowl, mix cream, sour cream, chopped dill, salt and pepper. Place fried chicken with onions and mushrooms in a deep baking tray, pour the cream mixture on top and set the tray in a pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes.
Ceps are porcinis.
That's a curious plural, porcinis, if you think about it.
Evidently, what I saw ceps are dried mushrooms. I wonder if there's a substitute, because I don't think I can get them at Publix. And I agree with Jeff, Russian might be misplaced Texans, or vise versa.
What are "ceps"? This looks yummy, but a lot of Russian quisine makes me think that "Russians" are displaced "Texans"! ;^))
