Russian cuisine: Fish in Wine

Overview

Refined and delicious fish, cooked in only 15 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 2oz butter
  • 2lbs fish (pike perch, salmon or trout)
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 glass white whine

Cooking

Cut fish into bite-sized cubes, place into a pan. Add bits of butter randomly between pieces of fish. Cut lemon into big chunks, remove seeds, place chunks on top of fish. Pour wine so that it covers fish only half-way. Set on a medium stove, and in a quarter of an hour an absolutely unbelievable fish with refined taste is done. No salt is needed. Use the sauce to pour on top of the garnish.
