One of Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage’s former security guards is demanding $115,000 as a compensation for unpaid wages and being fired. The man has filed a case against the actor in Orange County California.
According to TMZ online, Richard Brun was hired in September 2011. He worked with the action star or just two weeks before his was fired "without any valid reason". Brun claims the actor refused to pay him for the job.
Brun is seeking damages of at least $115,000.
The actor and his representatives have not yet commented on the legal action.
Despite being one of the highest paid movie stars Nicolas Cage has been experiencing financial difficulties. In October 2009 he filed a case against his manager Samuel Levin accusing him of "lining his pockets with several million dollars in business management fees while sending Cage down a path toward financial ruin." The manager filed a counter lawsuit, and both claims were rejected in court.
