For many, a supercar is the purchase of a lifetime. But very few of us have hundreds of thousands of dollars to spend on a Ferrari or Lamborghini. A Chinese farmer found a way to make his dream come true by building a Lambo on his own.

Avid mechanic Wang Jian, the 28-year-old son of a farmer from China's eastern Jiangsu province, built his dream ride out of two old cars – a Nissan and a Volkswagen.

It took quite a bit of time and effort, but the results were rather impressive: For around $9500, Jian built himself a custom-made replica of a 2007 Lamborghini Reventon.

You’ll probably never see the genuine article speeding down the road, since there are only 21 Reventons in existence, valued at up to $1.5 million each.

The replica hasn’t been completed yet, the Daily Mail reported – the vehicle is still missing headlights and windows. But the car is otherwise ready to hit the road, and can hit speeds of up to 250kph.

“I've always loved sports cars since I was a child,”
Jian told The Daily Telegraph. “After growing up, I thought of making my own… When I had the right circumstances and the time, I assembled it myself and realized my dream.”

I propose not to wait until you get enough money to order different goods! You should just take the business loans or commercial loan and feel comfortable

There is a reason the real thing costs $1.5 million. This thing is worth 1.5 truck loads of cow dung. Maybe he can make a trade. But don't be offended by my comments. I'm sure he had fun building it and I'm happy for him but this vehicle has more in common with a car crash than a Lamborghini .
