A dress that allows a woman to wear her heart on her sleeve has been created by a Dutch designer. Made from leather and smart opaque e-foils, Intimacy 2.0 becomes more or less transparent in response to the lady's heartbeat.
You have to be careful wearing Daan Roosegaarde's tricky dress as it will give away your emotions whenever you feel aroused or embarrassed.
For one thing is certain, the Dutch dress will make sure your heart is in the right place.
The futuristic fashion project composed with high-tech garments and available in two versions – Intimacy White and Intimacy Black – explores the relationships between intimacy and technology.
The 32-year-old award-winning designer describes his versatile creations, from dresses to dance floors, as “techno-poetry”. Among his most famous projects is the so-called “sustainable dance floor”, which generates electricity through the act of dancing.
Roosegaarde has been featured at exhibitions at the National Museum in Tokyo, Tate Modern and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
