A US Court has ruled Avatar director James Cameron has to hand over drafts of the screenplay in another legal dispute over the origins of the story.

American Eric Ryder filed a lawsuit over the screenplay to the 2009 hit blockbuster in December 2011. He is seeking unspecified compensation from the director and his production company claiming a story titled "K.R.Z. 2068" he spent years working on is the basis for the hit film.

On Wednesday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Alan Rosenfield has ordered Cameron to hand over drafts of the screenplay for Avatar to lawyers for Ryder. "We have to be careful and sensitive about ideas and information," the judge said.

Another American opened a lawsuit against Cameron on Monday. According to the Hollywood Reporter Elijah Schkeiban also claims his sci-fi novel “Bats & Butterflies” written in the late ’80s has been reworked into the Avatar screenplay.

Just weeks after Ryder’s lawsuit, another writer, Bryant Moore filed a suit seeking $1.5 billion in actual damages and another $1 billion in punitive damages from Cameron’s production company and 20th Century Fox, the studio behind “Avatar.”

Cameron has often spoken about Avatar saying he came up with the idea for “Avatar” movie in the early ’90s, but had to wait for years for the special-effects technology to catch up with his ambitious ideas.

American movies are blatant propaganda supporting the notion you can land in any third world country and blast them to kingdom come. How many movies on WW2 with Americans paving the way for a better world. If only. People are forbidden to question our series of wars on demand like Libya Syria Iraq and Palestine engaged in ritual slaughter thanks to our direct intervention . What do we get? Another movie about the death of bin laden layered with drama and mixed messages for political purposes. Surely there is another side to the story of how these terrorists were able to mount such a well-coordinated operation under the eyes of the authorities in 2001? Hollywood with Tom Cruise and Bruce Willis almost glorify violence and foul language. Youth is impressed and motivated by video games that encourage stereotypes. Every terrorist is an Arab except thats not true. History influenced by folklore and folklore indoctrinated by the movie industry searching for anything to make money and make people more stupid....if that is possible.

There is NOTHING transparent in the USA Government.. I wouldn't hand over 'anything' to them... Pretty sad when the secrets kept (aliens in the 60's) and Area 51 and the list goes on...away from the people..THAT'S acceptable...but when it comes to MONEY, well, that's a different tune.

Can't wait to see justice for Americans for all the murders commited in the name of Government lies and they waste their time on this?  Pleeez.
