World’s biggest bra up for grabs to fight breast cancer

There’s a bra you couldn’t hide from your neighbors even if you tried. The world's largest bra with cups 2.5 meters deep and 7 meters across is up for auction on ebay. It was made to raise money to battle breast cancer.

The bra was constructed last year and is a larger then life version of underwear in high street stores. It comes with a Guinness World Records' certificate and was used to kick-start fundraising on breast Cancer Awareness Day. It made headlines when it was suspended from the ITV Tower in London last October.

The director of Chillisauce.co.uk, Adrian Simpson, whose group has put the bra up for sale, was quoted as saying he hoped the auction would boost the campaign.

”Our aim in auctioning the bra is to build awareness and involvement in Wear It Pink Day as well as raise money for the Breast Cancer Campaign in the process,” he told The Metro newspaper.

The top bid currently stands at $1,600.

How would an action as such "fight" breast cancer? Absurd. Enough of that "pink ribbon" propaganda. Absurd actions draw absurd comments, but tied to some "higher cause" of some sort...

I once heard a man saying that he was given less than a month for his cancer situation. He went to Mexico. They "juiced" him. Nothing, but juice of carrots, apples and beets. 5 years later on - he is fine. No cancer.

A hundred years ago they did not know what cancer was. Or was it ever?
