After the British tennis player scooped two Olympic medals, his dogs immediately stole the show boasting about his gold and silver awards on Twitter.

Pictures of Andy Murray’s and his girlfriend’s beloved pets, Maggie May and Rusty, appeared on Twitter shortly after Murray beat Roger Federer in straight sets, The Daily Mail reports.

Andy Murray’s girlfriend Kim Sears opened the account for their border terrier Maggie May. The two fluffy gold and silver medalists in the picture wear Murray's medals with dignity. Sears’ comment to the picture says: “Here we go folks… Just checking to make sure Rusty definitely has the silver, obviously.”

Scot Andy Murray scooped the Olympic gold in the men’s singles after outplaying Roger Federer. It was a hard battle for both. Four weeks earlier on the same court Murray lost the Wimbledon final to Federer. He earned a silver medal in the mixed doubles with Laura Robson.
