“The Russian soul of Joseph Brodsky”

An exhibition of photographs featuring Nobel-prize winning Russian poet Joseph Brodsky, who died of a heart attack in 1996, opens in Milan during its Fashion Week.
The pictures were taken by one of the world’s most distinguished photographers, Russian artist Sergey Bermenyev, who has snapped photos of Kofi Annan, Luciano Pavarotti, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Mikhail Baryshnikov and many other A-list celebrities.
State-of-the-artRussia’s main cultural landmark, the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, has digitalized over one thousand paintings from its collection and released the images on two special websites. |
