One of the world’s most sophisticated blue-chip directors, David Lynch, has arrived in the Russian capital to present his artworks and a best-selling book, as well as to give a creative workshop for film students.
In passing, a client of mine once said," David Lynch gets many of his ideas from dreams!" For example, the movie Twin Peaks , was in essence, a movie about supernatural FBI agents using their 6th sense , to penetrate the world of the dead, and solve crimes! The show which aired many years ago, had so many different angles , but this was one of them. In the end , the FBI agent Kyle McLauhglin , slipped through into a supernatural vortex, and had a show- down with the demon who went about destroying lives through the psychic plane of existence --however , he went insane , from the encounter. What might be interesting is getting Mr Lynch's reaction to the Russian Scifi movies 'Night Watch and Day Watch ' , and see what kind of sparkle you get from his eyes. And get him to Watch ' Moscow Zero' as well.....a man with Lynch's talent surely will be able to see the kind of ideas , which have driven his career.....
