Moscow’s world-class Metro system is a true subterranean marvel, with 177 unique stations serving over 2.5 billion people annually.
All of the painstaking craftsmanship that went into creating this behemoth transportation system makes the daily rush a little less punishing for the 7 million passengers who daily ride the Moscow Metro.
In this first of a series of videos on Moscow’s labyrinthine metro system, we present, in addition to necessary practical information, some fascinating features about this underground world, including a sculpture of a dog that attracts thousands of pets from commuters each day who believe he will bring them good luck.

The Moscow Metro is fascinating. While visting in April we spent one afternoon visiting each station on the circle line, just to see the artwork and take photos to show around back home. I hope y'all do more videos of the various stations.
