A poet, chef, and Prince – all one and the same person… You doubt it? Meet Prince Consort of Denmark, Henrik! The versatile personality will present one of his best-known cook books in the Russian capital.
Henrik’s two life-long passions have always been haute cuisine and exquisite wine.
Author of several cookbooks, the 75-year-old husband of Denmark's Queen Margrethe II, Prince Henrik, will share his rich cooking experience with his Russian fans on October 13, in Moscow.
The former Count Henri Andre Marie Jean de Laborede de Monpezat had to change his name, religion and motherland to marry the heiress to the Danish throne, Princess Margrethe back in 1967.
Under the pen-name of H.M. Vejerbjerg, Prince Henrik and Queen Margrethe II have also translated a novel by famous French writer, Simone de Beauvoir, “Every Human is Mortal”, into Danish.
