Antique furniture, art and musical instruments – all pricey items. But if they used to belong to the King of Pop the competition among the bidders gets tough. The interior of Michael Jackson’s home has fetched over $1 million at Julien's Auctions.

Most of the contents of the inner attire of the late singer's last residence, the Holmby Hills mansion, had been auctioned off by yesterday. The some 500 items on sale included art, antiques, furniture, and even original creations from Jackson and his children.

Jackson’s art collection provided the most interest to the bidders. His painting by a Norwegian artist Adelstein Norman sold for $46,875 while another artwork by Danish painter Carl Neumann sold for $40,625. A watercolor painting by Maurice Utrillo fetched $35,200.

The musician’s Victorian-era piano, on which some of the singer’s hits were composed, fetched $9,600.

But if the pop icon’s autograph still means something to you, then here is an interesting lot. His wardrobe, which stood in the master bedroom of the house where nobody was allowed, sold for $18,750. The mirror on bore the words, "Train, perfection March April Full out May."

Several other items featured in crime scene photographs also fetched significant sums. An oriental rug on which medics tried to revive the singer went for $15,360.

Jackson's personal physician, Conrad Murray, was recently convicted for involuntary manslaughter of the singer and sentenced to four years in prison.
