The recent fire at an art restoration centre in Moscow is estimated to have caused over 100 million rubles in damage.
The estimates have been made by Russia's Investigative Committee.
According to the director of the restoration centre, every tenth painting was badly damaged by fire. In addition, the last floor of the building was completely destroyed and needs major repairs.
Officials say the fire was caused by careless use of blow-torches during roof-repair work. Currently, three people have been charged with negligence.
