The Timoshenko doll

Ukrainian PM, Yulia Timoshenko, has been turned into…Robin Hood. A hand-made doll representing the high-ranking politician resembling the popular character of English folklore has been sold at an auction for $53,000.

The question is: why does the doll of the Ukrainian Prime Minister – nicknamed in Russia and in Ukraine “The Gas Princess” – represent none other than Robin Hood, whose life credo was “stealing from the rich and giving to the poor”?

Apart from the Timoshenko doll, there were other creations representing Ukraine’s politicians, including a doll of President Yushchenko wearing traditional “sharovary” trousers.

However, the Timoshenko-turned-Robin-Hood doll managed to leave that of Yushchenko trailing far behind. It fetched more than ten times as much as expected, making it the most expensive lot at the auction.

However, the price is nothing in comparison to the cost of just one painting by Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. It went under the hammer for over one million dollars at a charity auction in St Petersburg earlier this year.

The “Dolls’ Parade” in Ukraine has raised a quarter of a million dollars to help fund the construction of a rehabilitation center for orphans.

Mmh she looks now better. Ukraine is not like western countrie and favorites, countries like georgia, ntc libya, ivory coast, ntc tunesia, ntc irak after janukowitsch bring in line he can show how people that from other peolpe respekted sometimes loved are to handle. This copiestyle of west art of justice looks not so ukraine style. Could be that west get a show how a leader could be respectfull reintegrated. EU could learn a lot about respect. Laurent Bagbo, Slobodan Melosovic/Karacic, Saif al islam, Mubarak, Saddam, fake Usama, fake Gaddafi could sing endless sounds of it. Aprasen known real good what it mean when western ideals met reallity. And before  she looks like same hopeless version of Killary she better become time to check all before bomb with isieus.
