A monument to celebrated American poet/essayist Walt Whitman, often referred to as “the father of free verse”, has been unveiled in the Russian capital to mark the arrival of the U.S. president in Moscow.
The sculpture has been placed in front of the entrance to the Philological Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Author of “Generations of Winter” rememberedThe farewell ceremony for one of Russia’s most important writers of the 20th century, Vasily Aksenov, will be held on July 9, three days after the death of the 76-year-old writer. |

Whitman – the model for the character of “Dracula” (Bram Stoker), the poet of American “democracy” and American “superiority”! Mayakovski (who was influenced by his style) would have vomited flames! “…Placed in front of the entrance to the Philological Faculty.” What a disgrace!
