A miniature, 2-millimeter model of a T-34 tank, and a “camelcade” the size of apple pips - these masterpieces, near-invisible to the naked eye, will be on display in a new ‘miniature’ museum soon to open in Moscow.

A craftsman of miniatures, creator of the stunning objects, Nikolay Aldunin, addressed the Moscow City Duma committee with a request to create a museum that would demonstrate his diminutive works of art to the general public. The authorities supported the idea.

According to Nikolay, his collection numbers at least 50 exhibits and includes a tiny copy of a Kalashnikov assault rifle, an itty-bitty Mosin rifle and a pint-sized bicycle.

The most remarkable is the 2-millimeter model of a T-34 tank (the size of a small bead!) which consists of more than 200 components! The tank is made of pure gold. In order to emphasize the size of the exhibits, they will be placed on rice grains, apple pips and needles.

The unusual collection will soon be exhibited in Moscow.
