Eight hours of experimental anime and exotic Siberian films will be demonstrated in Moscow during an overnight video art festival.

Among the participants are some of the largest art festivals in the world – German ‘Transmediale’, the US experimental festival of media arts ‘Freewaves’, and a Japanese media arts festival that focuses on anime and Manga.

Works from Germany, the Netherlands, Japan, Greece, Poland, Russia, Spain, Denmark and China will be presented during the event.

Usually the venue and the time of video art festivals are quite peculiar. Throughout their history, they’ve been held in places as diverse as central city markets and even in a medieval church! This year the demonstration will begin at midnight.

Any true cinema lover who feels he can handle some eight hours of non-stop enjoyment is welcome at the ‘Khudozhestvenny’ cinema in Moscow, from about 11 p.m. on June 20th.
