Russian Winter Festival wows Moscow with ice masterworks

An ice sculpture contest is perhaps the main event of the annual Russian Winter Festival, which is being held in the centre of Moscow.
The real masterpiece at the event is the ice bell, about two meters in height and weighing some 260 kilograms, made by one of the world’s most prominent ice sculptors, Sergey Zaplatin.
