Looks like American tennis player Serena Williams is just as good at music as she is at tennis. The former first racket of the world has surprised the world again - recording a rap song.
The tennis star began recording music last year. TMZ.com revealed a minute-long sample of what she has done so far: the first Williams track made public is dedicated to her own persona.
“I can see these haters through my Gucci glasses, I make hits like backing practice…” Serena raps. “I make a lot of money but it ain't your business. I put the track up like a frozen pizza. Beats so crazy it might blow your speakers," the wanna-be rapper continues.
Serena, 30, has always been a fan of hip-hop and knows a lot of rappers personally. Rap performers Common and Drake Beef were among her boyfriends.
The recording uploaded on Friday has already scooped tens of thousands of views on YouTube. But even if her rapping career fails, Serena can always stick to her day job.
Williams has just beat Russia’s Maria Sharapova 6-1, 6-3 ahead of the Madrid Open semifinals, along with top-ranked Victoria Azarenka from Belarus on Friday.
