Leader of Nine Inch Nails, the Oscar-winning composer Trent Reznor, could be soon taking part in another cinematic adventure. After the success of Social Network, Reznor is tipped to appear in “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.”

According to Badass Digest, 20th Century Fox is in talks with the charismatic musician for him not only to compose music for the film, but also to play the cameo part of Jack Barts, a vampire who kills Lincoln’s mother in the big screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's novel.

As the title of the story suggests, “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” will see America’s 16th president fighting against vampires.

The action adventure will be directed by the well-known Russian filmmaker working in Hollywood, Timur Bekmambetov.

The man behind “Wanted”, starring Angelina Jolie, Bekmambetov made a name for himself as the director of the highest grossing Russian film in history, the sci-fi fantasy Night Watch.

According to Variety, the title role in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will be played by Benjamin Walker, whose credits include “Flags of Our Fathers” by Clint Eastwood.

The ambitious Hollywood production is expected to be shot in 3D later this year for a 2012 release
