The Affordable Care Act, AKA Obamacare, officially began Tuesday, despite the government shutdown. And while the debate over funding the government continues, a new debate is looming, as the government is still expected to hit its borrowing limit - the debt ceiling - in mid-October. To find out where the US will go from here, RT's Meghan Lopez sits down with Daniel Faraci, director of Grassroots Political Consulting, and Mark Levine, former Democratic congressional attorney.

Civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson is fighting for the release of an American military veteran who was captured by Colombian rebels three months ago. US citizen and Marine veteran Kevin Scott Sutay was captured by the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) while on a hiking trip. On Saturday, Jackson accepted an invitation from the FARC to intervene. However, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos tweeted on Sunday, "Only the Red Cross shall be authorized to facilitate delivery of American kidnapped by the FARC. We will not allow media spectacle." RT's Meghan Lopez talks to Rev. Jackson about his efforts to free Sutay.
