Competition is good, but depending on markets served, quality surely remains the soundest base for any economy. To this day German quality is recognized automatically. Man produces too many cheapskate throw-away goods today which often litters & poisons our planet. My mom's Whirlpool is still giving her brilliant service after 22 years. Why does growth have to reach insatiable heights? Why is money the be all & end all? Why do countries have to compete so ferociously & even viciously? Why must every country always aim to prove itself the best? We breed greed & it becomes nothing but a spiraling death trap.
