These people live in a fantasy land. My father in law actually tried to participate in this program. The waiting lists were so long that he would lose out on his old car and the discount would expire on the new one. Availability of Avtovaz vehicles seems at odds with claims of low sales even before the program. Killing used car market is not good for lower classes.. Another evil trick the car dealers played was inflate the prices of the vehicles that were apart of this program so the incentive was negated. Trumpetting these same losers as successful people and modeling Russian politicals after the same criminals who crashed the American economy is a sure fire way at repeat failures. If there are waiting lists for these cars before and after the program, I think someone's playing with numbers, but we'll never EVER know because the thing called investigative journalism is absolutely DEAD.... Few that remain are diminished on the internet to 5th page searchs on search engines.
