Russian oil refiner and energy producer, Bashneft, has posted a 1H 2010 net profit of $671 million under IFRS.

Russian oil refiner and energy producer, Bashneft, has posted a 1H 2010 net profit of $671 million under IFRS.
Lukoil and Rosneft could merger to become one of the largest oil companies in the World, with $130 bn. in revenues and $20 bn. in profits, it would be the 10th largest oil company (still far away from the Big Five) but 5th by profits. So it would be one of the six companies more profitable in the World, even if still a third as large as Exxon, Shell or BP...
