A private Russian company has commissioned the Myasishchev Aerospace Bureau to design a tourist spacecraft. The bureau says it's working on a feasibility study for the spacecraft and the project is fully funded by the undisclosed firm.
The spacecraft will be carried to high altitude by a carrier aircraft and will then fly to the edge of the atmosphere.
The new spaceship will carry two pilots and fourteen passengers.
Meanwhile, Britain's Virgin Group is developing a similar project.
