I agree with the BRIC policy of multiple reserve currencies. Don't leave it all up to the burdened American dollar to prop up the world's economic system. As I said in another story comment, China's major problem is a serious trade imbalance and buying up too many American companies and too many US loans and currency reserves. Brasil is much smarter and savvy than RT gives it credit for. Russia is a growing nation. AND DON'T ASK FOR MY OPINION OF INDIA.

After witneesing the failure of capitalism and the consequence of the present financial crisis, it is evident that something else must be found. Personnally, I am pleased to read that forum; but earlier today I have received several news-breaks from french medias telling that the BRIC meeting did not bring any positive sign capable to improve the present worldwide financial situation. Naturally, I can recall of the same medias' many lies on other subjects concerning Russia or any other country not living in our "phony" freedom' standards. Is not that tragic that in 2009 one cannot read the simple truth or an objective actuality ! Sorry Future Generations. Jean-Claude Meslin
