Davos ends with hope for recovery – but little else

As the economic news from around the world became bleaker this week, economists and experts mulled solutions at the world economic forum in Davos.
With global policymakers becoming increasingly desperate in their attempts to fend of not just a recession all eyes are focusing on what can be done to turn around its largest single part – the U.S. economy.
The Russian government has revised it budget outlook in the wake of deteriorating economic data. The revision means that Russia’s reserves will be further eaten into in an attempt to minimize the downturn.
