Ukraine would not like to be bypassed, because it would loose the income from offering safe passage. When Ukraine pretends to play the fool, then it may mean that Europeans are manipulating this country behind the scenes and of course US the omnipresent entity. Have you ever had the experience of having an idiot interfeering in your business and playing God?

I hope this is not true, the EU really needs to get its priorities in order. We should make the Ukraine honour commitments, if they cannot then alternative sources or routes need to be found. The EU should not be in the position of being held ransom by any nation.

Ukraine like all the east Eurpopean countries is just playing the EU against Russia, it is the classic case of the child getting what it wants from two fighting parents, playing one against the other. Russia and the EU know this well, however they are locked into the situation. Maybe Russia's game is to make Ukraine an unbearable child for the EU to take to live in its family, thus breaking the family, whilst the EUs game is to give chocolate, cake and anything else to get the child to move in. Russia is betting that the EU will run out of cake and chocolate, the EU is betting it has enough in the cupboard to pull it off. So let's see how this very childish play continues, after all the only loser is the EU tax payer, but with 65% tax rates in the bigger states, they have lost already under tax oppression. Russia keep those taxes low! and let the EU loose!
