Pipe the gas to your nearest port, build a LNG plant, and you can sell it worldwide. Then you can forget the foreigners' problems. You don't have to worry about revolutions or anything else in other countries because someone will always buy natural gas. Within 10 years, the Great Peak Oil Crisis will begin, unless the world economy collapses,( something which is now actually possible). Then, only gas will be able to prevent mass starvation. Wikipedia Peak Oil and get scared without having to pay for a horror movie. Remember, if any major food exporting country implodes, the whole world will suffer, because a great part of all food is now in international trade. Any significant shortage will cause a rapid global price rise, hurting everyone. We've got to beat our swords into drilling rigs, and fast.
