Russia’s largest gas producer, Gazprom, has posted a 1Q 2009 Net Profit of 110.1 billion Roubles under IFRS.

Gazprom has been the major exception amongst global gas producers in the economic downturn. It has lost market share in Europe, keeping prices high, while rival producers, like Qatar, have sold gas more cheaply.
Russian ammonia and fertilizer producer, Acron, has posted a 1Q 2009 Net Loss of 849 million Roubles under IFRS.
