Market downturn opens gap for single dwelling housing

The Russian real estate market has seen a wave of bankruptcies amongst developers and construction companies, driven by falling demand and financing issues. But the market slump is providing an opening for some.










It will be interesting to see how Russia develops its version of "suburbia". If that really takes off, will there also be inner city blight, like it was in the US? If Russia can keep oil supplies up, will it develop a car culture or stick to mass transit? Interesting times ahead.
