On Friday, the law on criminal liability for abusing antimonopoly rules also came into force, with energy majors under the pump for their pricing policies according to the Federal Antimonopoly Service.

This kind of law is exactly what we need in the U.S. Corporations using the practice of monopolization and the abuse of that kind of power have run completely amuck in our country and (it seems, according to the article) in Russia.

This is good policy; I hope this department has teeth. What a hard struggle, but it means so much. it means everything. the world needs men with a steel hand to insure competition and free flow of information. I’m sure that in this respect the appearance of effect will not be as effective as the affect of appearance and actuality.
