Russia's Oboronprom helicopter holding is to build a new factory in Moscow Region to produce Kamov and Mil helicopters.
Construction of the plant will begin in January 2008 but production is unlikely to begin at the site, located in Panki, Moscow Region, for another two years.
The plant will be equipped with the latest computer-aided design equipment, while preserving the existing Kamov and Mil design bureaus.
