Russia's fast food market has shown huge growth over the past decade, with international and local players alike reaping in the benefits. Some local expats have come to the market looking to take a seat at the table.
Ah yes, seems like our government still wants us to be another Western colony... encourage fast food and bad eating, when something simple as chicken has over 14 ingredients. I can hear the march of the Fat moving Eastwards... Loosen your belts everyone, you will need the room... Don't worry about losing your culture to these Bright Neon Signs that come with every new restaurant. This is probably one of America's last form of income outside of the weapons market. What ever happened to a nice meal with family? Society is turning into disgrace of self importance. What's next to enter Russian market? The weight loss companies and all the Diet programs that are inextricably tied with the fast food industry? Talk about siphoned wealth.... just for a quick senseless meal.
The best of the best is russian fast food pancacke chain called Teremok !
The nation’s entire food outlet market was valued at about 24 billion in 2009, with Fast food accounting to 30-40% of that – or about 8-10 billion worth of take aways. The United Nations estimated the Earth's human population to be 6,800,000,000 in 2009. http://www.un.org/esa/population/publications/popnews/Newsltr_87.pdf million = 1 000 000 billion = 1 000 000 000 ;)

These fast food soup outlets sound like a great idea. People get their food quickly and 'to go' without having to worry about eating rubbish like french fries. They still are able to maintain a healthy option. This could start a trend all over the world.
