Rostecnology may join Metalloinvest to develop Udokan copper field

Russian state corporation Rostecnology will join up with steel maker Metalloinvest to jointly develop the huge Udokan copper field, if Metalloinvest wins the tender for it.
Mikhailovsky GOK, a major iron ore producer from Russia's Kursk region, and part of Metalloinvest, has already applied to bid for the rights to Udokan. Friday is the last day of the tender. Five more companies have filed bids.
