Russia ready for WTO: Medvedev

President-elect Dmitry Medvedev says Russia is ready to enter the World Trade Organisation later this year. But he says the country must join under proper conditions and not as a poor relation.
Medvedev also urged businesses to boost productivity while addressing the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in the Kremlin.
He stressed that in some industrial sectors Russia's performance is twenty times lower than in developed countries.
