Russia sees record economic growth in 2007

The fourth quarter of 2007 saw record economic growth of 9.5% in Russia – the highest in the past seven years.
The GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of Russia in 2007 has risen to $US 1.4 trillion.
The growth in the first quarter of 2007 came in at 7.4 per cent, with 8.1 and 7.3 per
cent in the second and in the third quarters respectively.
