Russian planemakers cash in at Farnborough

The Farnborough international air show ended with $47 billion worth of deals with many believing this year's event marked the recovery of the civil aircraft industry.
This is called Discount Price or sale at Reduced Price. Nobody sales this kind of product "below cost"..!! It's often sold like that in order to see market reaction and to attract undeceive future buyers. For all newly designed planes, the delivery speed might be deceive factor for successful marketing. Remember destiny of Airbus 380..!!
Why not? Every manufacturer discounts to create interest! Sukhoi needs to get a hold in the market just like Embraer did. Give them a break! They have a good product but a lot of prejudice to fight....!










I think that if the Russians are selling the Superjet 100 below cost (I doubt they are, maybe at cost) it would just be a deliberate tactic to generate interest and a market share rapidly and would have been done regardless of the global market conditions.
