Russian search engine among Europe’s most used

Yandex, Russia’s major search engine, has reached third place in the ranking of Europe’s most popular websites.
The March 2008 European Search Rankings was compiled by comScore, a renowned global internet information provider.
Yandex, with its 2.2% of searchers, has managed to come over both Yahoo! and MSN that have come in 4th and 5th, respectively.
Predictably, Goggle topped the ranking. Nearly 80% of Europeans use the search engine.
Auction site eBay has hit number 2.
Rambler, another popular Russian web portal, has also been listed among the top ten.
