Rosnano is investing 1.29 Billion roubles for the construction of new generation solar power systems on the grounds of the Ioffe Physical Technical Institute in Saint Petersburg.
Any chance of foreigners investing in this? I would be interested, though I would be only a small investor.
I am always amazed how people forget that snow and cloud reduce and eliminate solar panels from working. The solar industry always states the maximum power outputs of the arrays not the lack of power due to weather etc... read the book at www.solarbusters.ca and see what the solar industry doesn't want you to know. Mind you they may be able to employ lot's of people with scrapers and shovels to keep the panels working lol. Solar works in some locations but not all.

Certainly a good way to go, we have the land mass area, we have that nice reactor located at a safe distance, and we have the right technology providers. Certainly good to see investments in the future. This translated into towns like in Germany, driven by Solar power is a great plan for the future. Hope to see the whole package developing more out of the laboratory and into reality. We need the homes and the vehicular transport systems to go hand in hand. How we spend our energy revenues now, will dictate our very future. If we waste them all on today, there will not be a tomorrow. By balancing today and tomorrow, we get it right. Balance is management, management is what is needed. Transform our villages, our cities, our sub-urban life, transform our very built environment, driven by clean energy, quality of life and sustainability. By keeping Russia independent in energy, we keep Russia for ourselves. By transforming our Russia, we make Russia better for ourselves. And of course at the moment having poly-crystalline silicon production does nicely for a start. I'm loving it!
