The Chief Financial Officer of Russian-British oil major TNK-BP is resigning, according to a statement released by the company.
James Owen made the announcement about his departure in a letter addressed to CEO Robert Dudley and TNK-BP Limited's Board of Directors. He said he will leave the company at the end of August.
The CFO explained that persisting differences between Russian and British shareholders have prevented him from fulfilling his duties. The departure is the latest fallout from a shareholder dispute which has seen CEO Robert Dudley leave Russia and continue to run the company from an undisclosed location in Europe.
