Transneft posts 3Q 2009 net profit of 37.73 billion roubles

Russian oil transportation monopoly, Transneft, has posted a 3Q 2009 net profit of 37.74 billion roubles under IFRS.
The bottom line is up 130% year on year from the 16 billion rouble profit posted for 3Q 2008, with revenues increasing 23.6% year on year to 89.14 billion roubles.
The 3Q result for a 9M 2009 net profit of 92.32 billion roubles, up from 60.96 billion for 9M 2008. 9M Revenues rose from 202.09 billion roubles in 2008 to 255.88 billion roubles this year.
