its ridiculous to expect coffee shop owners to not sell to foreigners; cutting out an entire season of profitable sales to holiday makers.
if you are willing to got from a country where "stupid" laws that prohibit cannabis use, to an area of Holland renowned for its relaxed cannabis laws, only to find you need to have a dutch id card to smoke then this will only BOOST the on street dealer sales, causing more crime and depleting sales from licensed local suppliers and coffee shops.
Well, at least they aren't imprisoning people for smoking it like here in the US.
